Ward 15
Flamborough Waterdown
Ward 15 is primarily a rural ward but includes some light industrial and commercial land as well as the urban area of Waterdown.
The south-west border of Ward 15 runs along Millgrove Sideroad / Highway No. 5 W / Rock Chapel Rd until it reaches the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The southern border then runs along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment in a north and north east direction, until it reaches the City of Burlington boundary at Kerns Rd. Heading in a straight line along Kerns Road and Milburough Line in a north west direction, until the intersecting boundaries of the 3 municipalities of City of Hamilton, the Region of Halton and Wellington County meet at Mountsberg Conservation Area. The north-west edge of the ward runs from Mountsberg Conservation Area along parts of both McCrae Station Road and Puslinch Townline Road, in a south-west direction along Maddaugh Road. The border then runs along Highway 6 until it turns southward at the settlement of Millgrove where it continues southward on Millgrove Sideroad.
Ward 15 includes Joe Sams Leisure Park, which boasts four baseball diamonds, eight soccer fields, several kilometres of Waterdown North Wetland Trail, and an off-leash dog park. Waterdown is considered one of the fastest growing residential areas in Hamilton.
Ward 15 is located mainly within the Halton Conservation Authority and some Hamilton Conservation Authority watersheds.
