Are you pregnant and looking for support?
Join a weekly free Welcome Baby prenatal nutrition group to learn about having a healthy pregnancy and taking care of your baby. You must join during your pregnancy and then you can continue until your baby is 6 months old.
Childminding for children under 6 years of age is available at three of our groups. Click on “Listing of locations” to see which groups offer child minding

Included with the program, as needed:
- Grocery gift cards
- Bus tickets
- Gift cards for prenatal vitamins
- Vitamin D for babies receiving breast milk
How do I join?
Choose one Welcome Baby group to attend and register on your first visit. You do not need to register ahead of your first visit.

We are committed to creating environments that meet the needs of all our members, therefore there may be differences in what groups offer. Details are included with each listing below.
Prenatal nutrition group hours and locations
Attending an in-person group is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet and get to know other people, talk with a Registered Nurse and Registered Dietitian and enjoy a snack together. Continuing to attend after you have your baby provides the opportunity for your baby to meet other people and a great way for you to spend quality time with your baby.

Online group
The online group option is available for those experiencing barriers to attending an in-person Welcome Baby group.

- Learn about healthy pregnancy, healthy eating, breastfeeding, phases of labour and infant feeding in free one-on-one prenatal sessions
- Postnatal group for parents and children from 0-6 years old
- Baby massage class for parents and infants from 0 to 12 months
- Free childcare during program for children from 2 to 6 years old
- Access to food, bus tickets and vitamins are provided to low income women
- You must speak French to access this program

Indigenous people and families can access this program where we strive to encourage and promote healthy pregnancies. If you are pregnant or have a baby less than 6 months of age you are welcome to join the program. Dads are encouraged to participate.
