Community Vaccine Clinic
The community vaccine clinic is a clinic run by nurses from public health. Vaccinations are usually given by your family health care provider or at your nearest walk-in clinic.
Please see below for who is eligible to attend the community vaccine clinic:
- Students in grade 7 to 12 who have missed or were unable to receive the grade 7 Hepatitis B, HPV and Meningitis vaccinations provided at school
- Individuals who do not have an Ontario Health Card and are unable to receive routine childhood vaccinations with their family health care provider or walk-in clinic
This summer we will be offering clinics at two locations:
- East End Public Health Clinic located at 247 Centennial Pkwy N, Unit 8. All routine childhood vaccinations are available at this clinic.
- Chedoke Twin Pads Arena located at 91 Chedmac Drive. This clinic is intended for the catch up of grade 7 to 12 students who are missing their Hepatitis B, HPV and Meningitis vaccinations.

Routine Childhood Vaccines and School-Based Vaccines
There are many vaccines that can protect you and your child from disease. These vaccines are free. When you get your vaccines according to the Ontario publicly funded immunization schedule you are protected early from disease. Many vaccines protect from more than one disease.
Talk to your doctor or a Hamilton Public Health nurse at 905-546-2424 ext. 7556 to learn more about vaccines.
