The Recreation Division is launching a new online registration, facility booking and membership system for programs and services on November 20, 2024. Most active users of the current system will be migrated to the new system and will receive an email notification with information on how to access their account.
If you have:
a Recreation Assistance Program subsidy
an active participation pass or clip card,
an active rental contract,
a balance on your family account, or
registered for recreation programs within the last two years.
An account will be created for you and the identified main contact will receive a notification to the email address on file with instructions on how to access and review the account beginning November 20.

Fees apply to all drop-in swimming programs supervised by staff but not led by an instructor.

Non-residents will be charged an additional fee of $17.34 plus applicable taxes when purchasing Clip Cards and Yearly Passes.
All clip cards and monthly pass replacement fee - $6.23 There is no commitment required for drop-in classes.

On Monday, November 11, seasonal youth recreation passes go on sale at select Recreation Centres across the City of Hamilton. These passes are sold in booklets of 10 tickets and provide admission to scheduled drop-in swim, gym, and skate sessions for youth 17 years and under. These themed booklets become available at different times of the year and have limited quantities.
Holiday booklets can be redeemed for use after purchase until March 31, 2025.

Single admissions are non-refundable. We may offer a “rain check” known as a Courtesy Pass to visit at a later date. Photocopies will not be accepted and they must be used by the expiry date. No cash value.
Passes and Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be loaned to another person.
Participation Passes are valid for Swimming and Gym/Sport programs only.
Skating Passes are valid for Skating passes only.
Senior Centre Memberships are valid for programs at Ancaster Seniors Achievement Centre, Flamborough Senior Centre and Sackville Hill Seniors Recreation Centre only.
Pass and Membership holders must comply with all staff instructions and all admission and supervision standards for the specified program.
Pass and Membership holders must comply with all City of Hamilton by-laws, policies, and procedures.

Fees are subject to change without notice.
Once a pass or membership term has started and you request to cancel the pass or membership, you will only receive a partial credit. The partial credit amount will be based on the value of the remaining portion of the term from the time the cancellation request is received. Any cancellation requests must be made in writing to [email protected] and are subject to approval.
By entering the facility or participating in any City of Hamilton program, the Pass or Membership holder or the legal guardian of the Pass or Membership holder voluntarily accepts the risks of injury, death, damage or loss of property as a result of entering the facility or participating in any program.
The City of Hamilton may remove a Pass or Membership holder from the facility and/or terminate participation in any program at any time.
The City of Hamilton is not responsible for any injuries, deaths, damages or loss of property for any reason. The Pass or Membership holder or the legal guardian of the Pass or Membership holder agrees to fully release the City of Hamilton from any claims.
