Temporary Stop: Wilson at Victoria

Due to the Paul McCartney Concert at TD Coliseum, there will be detours on Friday, November 21, 2025, because of a road closure on Bay Street, between King Street and York Street, and on York St between Bay Street and James St N.

Expected Delays

Significant delays are anticipated in the downtown area during concert let-out and until traffic clears. This will affect routes along the following corridors:

• King St.; John St. westerly to Hwy 403
• Main St.; Bay St. easterly to Wellington St.
• Bay St.; Hunter St. to Cannon St.
• James St.; York Blvd. southerly to Mountain accesses
• Cannon St./York Blvd.; Bay St. westerly to Hwy 403

Special Shuttles:

Starting at 10:45 pm. Buses will depart from the stop on James St. N. at the discretion of the on-duty Supervisor up to when the crowd is cleared to ensure the last connection is made. Regular fare will apply.  The last Train out of West Harbour GO will depart at 11:40 pm.

Shuttle will drop off at James opposite West Harbour GO Station (special shuttle drop off)

Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will detour as it travels to and from the Flamborough South Centre, August 31 until further notice.

Northbound to Flamborough South Centre: When travelling to Walmart, the bus will continue on Clappison Avenue, turning right on Dundas Street East, left on Leavitt Boulevard, left into Flamborough South Centre, right on the first internal road, proceed around Staples, and stop at stop #1879 at Walmart.

Southbound to Aldershot GO: From stop #1879 at Walmart, the bus will turn left at from the stop, right on the first internal road, left on the next internal road, right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street East, and left on Clappison Avenue where it will continue regular route. 

Transit staff and property manager are working on an access agreement to allow HSR bus travel through the lot.

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will be on detour and myRide On-Demand will be suspended from 4 pm until 10:30 pm due to the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade.

Detour Details

Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer – Buses will detour as follows:

• Eastern Detour (Heading Northbound): From Aldershot GO Station Platform 10 the bus will turn left on Alayne Bryk Way, then right on Waterdown Road. The bus will turn right on Mountain Brow Road, continue on Burke Street, turning left on Dundas Street. The bus will turn right on First Street, right again on Niska Drive, then it will turn left on Boulding Avenue. The bus will turn right on Parkside Drive and right on Avonsyde Boulevard.
• Eastern Detour (Heading Southbound): From Avonsyde Boulevard at Dundas Street, the bus will turn right on Dundas Street, left on Burke Street, and it will continue on Mountain Brow Road. The bus will turn left on Waterdown Road, left on Alayne Bryk Way and proceed to Aldershot GO station Platform 10.
• Western Detour (Heading Northbound): From Aldershot GO Station Platform 10, the bus will turn left on Alayne Bryk Way and right on Waterdown Road. The bus will turn left onto Highway 403 westbound, exiting at Highway 6 northbound. The bus will turn right on Dundas Street, right on Leavitt Boulevard and then turn left. At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and continue to the bus stop on the west side of Walmart.
• From the bus stop on the west side of Walmart - At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and then make a left. The bus will turn right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street, turn left on Clappison Avenue, turn right on Parkside Drive, and then turn right on Braeheid Avenue. The bus will turn right on Riley Street, right on Dundas Street, turn left on Leavitt Boulevard, and make a left turn. At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and continue to the bus stop on the west side of Walmart.
• Western Detour (Heading Southbound): From the bus stop on the west side of Walmart - At the stop sign, the bus will turn right and then make a left. The bus will turn right on Leavitt Boulevard, left on Dundas Street, and it will turn left onto Highway 6 towards Highway 403 QEW eastbound. The bus will exit at Waterdown Road and continue to Alayne Bryk Way and will proceed to Aldershot GO station Platform 10.
