Schedules & Detours

As a result of road reconstruction on Wilson St – John St to Catharine St, routes 2 Barton and 3 Cannon Eastbound only, will be on detour from Monday, February 3, 2025, at 7 am to approx. Tuesday, February, 2025, at 5 pm. Detour details, including a closed stop, temporary stop and detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 2 Barton buses will detour as follows below:

• Eastbound (From Downtown) - From John Street and Rebecca Street, Right on Rebecca Street, Left on Mary Street, Left on Cannon Street, Right on John Street and resume regular eastbound routing.
• Westbound (To Downtown) – No detour required.

Route 3 Cannon buses will detour as follows below:

• Eastbound (From Downtown) - From John Street and Rebecca Street, Right on Rebecca Street, Left on Mary Street, Right on Wilson Street and resume regular eastbound routing.
• Westbound (To Downtown) – No detour required.

As a result of a road closure on Eastport Drive from Beach Boulevard to Lakeshore Road, Route 11 Parkdale, will be on detour from Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 6 pm to Friday, January 31, 2025, at 6:30 am. Detour details, including a closed stop and detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 11 Parkdale buses will detour as follows:

• Northbound to Burlington – From Beach Boulevard and Eastport Drive (after servicing Beach Boulevard), turn left on Eastport Drive, left on Beach Boulevard, left onto the QEW/Burlington Skyway on-ramp opposite Van Wagner’s Beach Road, exit the QEW at Highway 2/North Shore Boulevard, turn left on North Shore Boulevard, right onto QEW Niagara/Eastport Drive, and continue south on Eastport Drive. 
  • For trips servicing the Canada Centre for Inland Waters (CCIW), turn right at the CCIW main entrance roadway and resume regular routing. 
  • For trips not servicing CCIW, turn left at the CCIW main entrance roadway and resume regular routing. 
• Southbound to Hamilton – From Lakeshore Road and Eastport Drive, 
  • For trips leaving CCIW should turn left on Eastport Drive, 
  • For trips not leaving CCIW should turn right on Eastport Drive, and then follow signs to North Shore Boulevard. 

Turn left on North Shore Boulevard, right onto QEW Niagara/Eastport Drive, continue south on the QEW/Burlington Skyway, exit at the Woodward Avenue off-ramp, turn right on Woodward Avenue, continue north on Eastport Drive, turn right on Beach Boulevard (north intersection), and resume regular routing.

Stop closures:

Northbound to Burlington:

• Beach at Eastport
• Eastport at Lakeshore

Southbound to Hamilton: 

• Eastport at CCIW

As a result of construction on Wentworth Street, Route 12 Wentworth southbound only, has been extended to detour from Monday, October 28, 2024, at 9 am to Friday, February 21, 2025, at 6 pm.

Route 12 Wentworth:

• Southbound To (End-of-line):  From Wentworth Street and Cannon Street turning right on Cannon Street, left on Wellington Street, left on Main Street, right on Wentworth Street and resume regular southbound routing on Wentworth Street south of Main Street.
• Northbound To (End-of-line): No Detour.

These bus stops will be closed during the detour: 

• Southbound: Wentworth at Cannon| Wentworth at Wilson | Wentworth at King | Wentworth at Main

Temporary stops have been placed at these locations:

• Southbound: Cannon at Smith | Wellington at Wilson | Wellington at King | Main at Victoria

Detour Route 34 Upper Paradise: February 2, 2025:

As a result of Retaining Wall Maintenance on Beckett Drive, Route 34 Upper Paradise Southbound only, will be on detour from Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Detour details, including closed stops and detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 34 Upper Paradise buses will detour as follows below:

• SOUTHBOUND (From Downtown) - From Queen Street and Herkimer Street – Left on Herkimer Street, Right on James Street, Continue south on James Mountain Road and West 5th, Right on Fennell Avenue, Left on Garth Street and resume regular southbound routing. 
• NORTHBOUND (To Downtown) – No detour required.

Stop closures:

Route 34 Upper Paradise SOUTHBOUND:

• GARTH opposite AUCHMAR
• QUEEN at ABERDEEN

As a result of construction on Garner Road, Wilson Street to Glancaster Road, Route 44 Rymal will be on detour from December 03, 2024, until further notice. Detour details, including detour maps, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 44 Rymal 

• WESTBOUND (To Tradewind & Cormorant) – No detour required.
• EASTBOUND (To Eastgate Square) - From Garner Road and Southcote Road, turning right on Southcote Road, left on Book Road, left on Glancaster Road, right on Garner Road and resume regular eastbound routing.

Stop closures:

The following stops will be closed during the detour:

Route 44 Rymal Eastbound

• All stops between Southcote and Glancaster Road are out of service.
