Register Your Cat

Hamilton Animal Services and Ren’s Pets wish to encourage dog and cat owners to licence and register their pets.

• Ren’s Pets will generously reward pet owners with $20 to spend at Ren’s Pets with each registered pet (up to 4 pets).
• Bring your printed Hamilton Animal Services Licence Certificate receipt with the Ren’s Voucher to any Ren’s Pets location to redeem your $20
• You must sign up for Ren’s Rewards (Free to join!) to redeem your reward

Cat owners must keep their cat indoors or on their own property. Hamilton residents are encouraged to buy a cat registration tag from the City of Hamilton to help their lost or strayed cat return to their homes.

Benefits of Registering your Cat

• It is easier to find a lost cat if it is licensed.

• A lost cat gets one free ride home every 365 days.

• Your cat will come home to you if lost without going to an animal shelter first.

• Licence fees are used to care for and feed lost or stray pets, and find a home for them.
