Join us on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 as we host a community sunrise ceremony & afternoon event at West Harbour - James St Plaza to come together to commemorate and honour residential school survivors, their families, and communities.

- Afternoon Event from 1 to 3:30 pm.
The afternoon will be filled with Indigenous knowledge sharing, a Survivor’s Story, Education and Reflection. Hosted by the City of Hamilton’s Indigenous Relations Team, Public Art and welcome guests - Mohawk Institute Survivor, Moccasin Identifier, Spirit Vision Drummers.
Indigenous Snacks provided (while quantities last).
