Transit Oriented Development Guidelines
The Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Guidelines promote development and support larger transit investments such as rapid transit.
The purpose of the guidelines is to:

- Principles of Transit Oriented Development
- Common practices or elements of Transit Oriented Development
- Summary of the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing TOD
- Set of implementation tools and strategies to facilitate the application of TOD in Hamilton
- Volume 2 - The guidelines will service as an implementation tool by:
- Showing illustrations of how the principles of TOD may appear in practice. Sample sites were chosen to provide examples of how TOD may look in Hamilton
