In 2018, CHH received the 727 Upper Sherman land parcel from the City of Hamilton to build additional affordable housing. This land parcel is located next to a municipal long-term care facility which is currently undergoing an extension. CHH has been working with the City of Hamilton through the design phase to ensure both designs align to the needs of the City. Since both land parcels were the City of Hamilton, a land severance must also take place prior to construction.
The project is expected to be 66 units including 46 singles and 20 family units.
