Presentations focus on the City of Hamilton’s current waste programs and the importance of managing your waste using the 3R’s: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Each presentation reviews Hamilton’s blue box and green bin programs, while touching on some other programs and services.

- Presentations are approximately 30 to 45 minutes long (including a question and answer period).
- Scheduled Monday to Friday during business hours. Requests for evening or weekend presentations are available pending staff availability and approval.
- Minimum of 8 people must be in attendance.
General Waste Presentation
Created for community groups and organizations, our interactive presentations will engage the audience in learning about the “do’s and don’ts” of recycling and composting and review the importance of recycling, what goes where, and actions to take to reduce waste and increase diversion.
Presentations can be delivered to Hamilton businesses, community members and residents.
Apartment Waste Presentation
Created for residents of apartment buildings and condominuims, the presentation helps residents understand the importance of proper sorting, and the benefits of recycling and composting. For more information about apartment waste diversion visit Property Owners, Managers & Superintendents.
