The Gore Standard-Hardscape Design Guidelines

The Gore Standard-Hardscape Design has been developed to identify requisite urban design components on or adjacent to King Street in the International Village BIA. This document will primarily be used by the development community, consultants and in the Hamilton LRT project.

The purpose of the Gore Standard-Hardscape Design and the Street Design and the Furniture Standards for the Hamilton LRT Corridor is to identify:

• LRT Corridor principles
• Design application, detailing and construction
• Urban Braille requirements
• Street Furniture
• Modular Trench Drain System
