Appliances and Scrap Metal
The City of Hamilton does not pick up appliances or scrap metal. You can take your appliances or scrap metal to any one of the City's Community Recycling Centres free of charge (residential loads only).

All of these appliances should still contain the compressor.
If your appliance still works, contact a local charitable organization or drop it off at the Reuse Store at the Hamilton Mountain Community Recycling Centre.
