Macassa Bay Renewal

The City of Hamilton has commenced a process to renew Macassa Bay through various improvements including shoreline naturalization, and open space enhancements for community use and enjoyment.

Currently, there is a significant amount of aging hardscaping, limited vegetation, and few publicly accessible site amenities within the area.

Planning and constructing the improvements will occur through a collaborative engagement process with the Indigenous community and in consultation with key organizations, groups, agencies and public.
