Outdoor Pools
The City of Hamilton has several outdoor pools for residents and visitors to enjoy during the summer months.
Public programming at outdoor pools takes place June 28 to September 2, 2024.
All Recreation Facilities are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Please see below for specific facility accessibility features.

Wading Pools
Wading pools are shallow water areas for children located within parks.
Wading Pool Admission Criteria
- Children 0 to 5 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be within arm’s reach at all times
- A guardian is defined as an individual at least 12 years of age or older who is responsible for the direct supervision of children within their care.
During an Extended Heat Warning, all wading pools, except for Dundas Driving Park, will be closed. Visit www.hamilton.ca/heat for more information on heat stage events.
Wading pools will close for the season on August 23, 2024.
