What we learned
Most Popular Routes: Route 5 Delaware was the top route, accounting for 21% of all trips.
Demographics & Trip Frequency: Women made up 80% of trips, with similar travel times and distances as men. Participants earning between $20,000 and $40,000 per year completed the most trips.
Main Purpose for Travel: Work-related travel was the primary reason across all income levels, with many trips dedicated to commuting.
Payment Preferences: The physical and digital PRESTO cards were the most popular payment methods, showing a strong preference for digital convenience.
Your participation is essential in shaping the future of our transit system by highlighting key routes and travel needs. Thank you again, and congratulations to everyone who made this study a success!
