City Council has adopted a number of critical strategies and plans to address current challenges and create economic stability, social equity, environmental sustainability and a healthy city. The City considers these strategies when making decisions about service delivery and how to achieve long-term goals.

Age Friendly Hamilton

Guide for municipal decision-makers and community stakeholders in addressing the current needs and priorities of older adults and seniors living in Hamilton.

Archaeology Management Plan

Outlines the City’s roles and responsibilities to ensure the management of archaeology is systematic, consistent and transparent across the City’s jurisdiction.

Asset Management Plan

Managing Hamilton's infrastructure such as transit, roads, bridges, city facilities and clean water and wastewater treatment.

Biodiversity Action Plan

A coordinated approach between the City and local community environmental partners for protecting, enhancing, and restoring biodiversity in Hamilton.

Consumption and Treatment Services

Public Health Services is planning to expand its services for people who use drugs to include Consumption and Treatment Services (CTS).

In development with an aim to understand how digital/online services provided by the City are meeting the needs of the public, and opportunities for digital enhancements.
