COVID-19 vaccines are now available for the high-risk and priority groups

COVID-19 vaccines will be available to the general public aged 6 months and older starting October 28, 2024.
Pharmacies offering COVID-19 vaccines
If you are unable to access the vaccine from your local pharmacy or healthcare provider, appointments are available with public health. Only members of high-risk eligible groups will be able to book an appointment before October 28, 2024. You must book an appointment to attend a public health clinic at this time.
After-Action Report - COVID-19 Pandemic Response
The City of Hamilton’s After Action Report - COVID-19 Pandemic Response was informed through the feedback and documentation of the Mayor, Council and Emergency Operations (EOC) Management Team members, and is meant to inform the response to future emergencies.
The After-Action Report intends to:
- Review the EOC’s response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Identify gaps, best practices, successes, challenges, barriers, and opportunities for improvement that contributed to the COVID-19 response; and
- Develop recommendations for future emergencies, including pandemics
