Spay or neuter your pet to manage pet overpopulation and prevent stray animals.

Stray animals can:

• Carry diseases such as rabies and distemper

• Cause damage and destroy property

• Get in the road and cause accidents

• Attack people and other animals

Taking care of stray animals is expensive. Some neglected or sick stray animals are put down.

Protect your pet

• Buy a dog licence.

• Register your cat.

• Get a microchip for your pet.

• Attach an identification tag to your pet’s collar.
