There are many options for free or low-cost dental programs in Hamilton for your clients.
These dental programs are available for adults and seniors.
- Provides free emergency dental services to Hamilton residents
- For people with low income and no other dental coverage

- For eligible low-income seniors 65 years or older to access dental care. This program is for Ontarians aged 65 and over who do not have dental benefits and who meet income criteria.
- You can apply online, or get an application form from one of our clinic sites. Once completed and submitted, you will receive a welcome package and dental card in the mail if your application is approved. After you receive the dental card and are enrolled, you can book an appointment by calling 905 546-2424 ext. 3789 and request to speak to the Adult Dental Clinic.

These dental programs are available for children and youth under 18 years of age.
- Pays the cost of dental services for children and youth under 18 years old who live in Hamilton and are low income.
- Your adjusted family net income must be less than $28,523 per year to access the program if you have one child. The adjusted net family income limit required to access the program increases for each additional child in your family.

- A federally funded program designed to cover routine and essential care for eligible Canadians.
- Visit Canadian Dental Care Plan for full eligibility requirements and services provided.
- The Canadian Dental Care plan works alongside existing Ontario dental programs. Healthy Smiles Ontario will act as a secondary payer. This coordination ensures children receive the maximum coverage available under both programs.
