The Hamilton Military Museum
Burlington Heights, where Dundurn Castle stands today, was occupied by the British military from 1813 -1815. Housed in Battery Lodge, the Hamilton Military Museum tells the story of the people who lived in the area during the War of 1812. Blood Ties to a Gentle Landscape showcases the historical figures of this area through documentary evidence, period artifacts, and stories passed down through generations.
