Community Connections for Students

Hamilton has amazing arts, music, culture for you to connect with in addition to resources for professional development and career advice. Hamilton has a little bit of everything, and many people will help you find your way in Hamilton.

• Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) facilitates community partnerships to coordinate and enhance delivery of services to newcomers to the Hamilton region.
• Hamilton HIVE is an umbrella organization that connects young professionals with different young professional groups within the City.
• International Student Connection is a partnership between the City of Hamilton, McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer University and a charity called Helping International Students. This group organizes collaborative activities targeted at international students including the Hamilton Welcomes the World event in September which provides students with an introduction to the Hamilton community.
