Community Connections for Students

Hamilton has amazing arts, music, culture for you to connect with in addition to resources for professional development and career advice. Hamilton has a little bit of everything, and many people will help you find your way in Hamilton.

• Global Hamilton Connect (GHC) is a group that was created by and for International Young Professionals. GHC offers social events (mostly free!) as well as professional development events to help you navigate Hamilton.
• Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) facilitates community partnerships to coordinate and enhance delivery of services to newcomers to the Hamilton region.
• Hamilton HIVE is an umbrella organization that connects young professionals with different young professional groups within the City.
• Mohawk College offers settlement services to international students through the International Student Connect program.
