To permanently close a portion of road allowance abutting 357 Wilson Street East, Ancaster

Notice is hereby given pursuant to City of Hamilton By-law 14-204 to establish procedures, including the giving of notice to the public, governing the sale of land owned by the City of Hamilton, that the Council of the City of Hamilton proposes to pass a By-law to permanently close a portion of road allowance abutting 357 Wilson Street East, Ancaster.

Public Works Committee

On Monday June 18, 2018 at 9:30 am, at Hamilton City Hall, 71 Main Street West, Hamilton, the Public Works Committee will hear in person, or by his/her counsel, solicitor or agent any person who claims that his/her lands will be prejudicially affected by the said by-law and who applies to be heard.

This activity is categorized as a Schedule ‘A+’ project under the Municipal Engineers Association, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment document (June 2000, as amended in 2011). This notification satisfies the public notice requirements as contained in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, and therefore this project will proceed to implementation.
