Christmas in Gore Park - Tree Lighting
Celebrate the season in downtown Hamilton!
Join the Downtown Hamilton BIA, in partnership with Rotary Club of Hamilton and the City of Hamilton to kick off the holiday festivities with the annual Tree Lighting event in Gore Park.
This free, family-friendly celebration includes the highly anticipated lighting of the Christmas Tree of Hope at 6:30 pm, and supports the Children's Fund Christmas Tree of Hope, helping local charities make the holiday season brighter for children and families.
What to Expect:
- Meet Santa: Capture a holiday photo with Santa as he makes a special visit.
- Sweet Treats: Enjoy fresh maple taffy, a winter favorite.
- Live Music: Get into the festive spirit with live holiday music.
- Free Carousel Rides: Enjoy free rides from 5 to 8 pm on December 6 & daily from December 7 to 20 from 12 noon to 8 pm.
- Tree Lighting Countdown: Join us at 6:30 for the countdown to light up the park.
