Winter Whimsy - Dig It! Archaeology 101 - Presented by Hamilton Children's Museum

The Hamilton Children’s Museum and Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum are teaming up to provide fun hands-on activities this winter break. 

Archaeologists are a lot like detectives; they figure out how people lived in the past by looking at the objects that people left behind. Participants will unearth artifacts and use tools to come to conclusions about the objects that are found. Visitors are also invited to explore the second-floor gallery to view the art collection of Tom & Doris Farmer, former owners of the home that is now Fieldcote Museum. Get inspired by the artworks on display and see where your creativity takes you as you recreate paintings in new and exciting mediums.
