The Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology, also known as the “Steam Museum”, is located on the site of the 1859 Hamilton Waterworks complex.
The museum offers guided tours, public programs, and special events, including:
- Train Days with the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers, held on select dates in the summer
- Boats in the Park with the Confederation Marine Modellers, held in May
- The Iron Pour, in partnership with the Canadian Society of Contemporary Iron Arts, held in June
- Year-round STE(a)M workshops, field trips, group tours, and children’s activities

Closed on Mondays, Good Friday, Canada Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Depending on availability, we will open outside of regular hours for pre-booked groups.
