Hamilton Civic Museums Free Heritage Weekend at Steam

In honour of Heritage Month, all Hamilton Civic Museums will be open for visitation free of charge. Create some new family memories by taking a guided tour of the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology, where you’ll see an amazing example of Victorian engineering. Tours will take you through the 1859 Hamilton Waterworks where two massive water pumping steam engines are preserved.

Note: Our museums are not all wheelchair accessible, and strollers and infant carriers may not be taken on tour. There is an indoor area where strollers can be parked while on tour.
