• Buses heading downtown are on detour from King Street at Gage Avenue - turn right on Gage Avenue, left on Cannon Street, left on John Street, right on King Street and resume regular routing on King Street west of John Street.

As a result of the Super Crawl event, Routes 2 Barton, 3 Cannon, 4 Bayfront, 6 Aberdeen, 7 Locke, 8 York, 9 Rock Gardens, 20 A Line will be on detour due to road closures on Murray Street, from MacNab Street to Hughson Street; York Boulevard, from Bay Street to Hughson Street; James Street, from King Street to Strachan Street; Rebecca Street, from James Street to Hughson Street. These closures will take place from Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 1:30 am to Monday, September 15, 2025, at 5 am.

Temporary Stop: Wilson at Victoria

Due to construction, Burlington Street will be closed between Kenilworth Ave to Strathearne Ave. As a result, Route 4 Bayfront buses will be detoured on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 7 am to Wednesday September 10, 2025, at 5 pm.

Detour Details:

• EASTBOUND FROM DOWNTOWN - From Burlington Street Street and Nickola Tesla Blvd just east of Kenilworth Avenue, continue easterly over Nicola Tesla Blvd and continue to the off ramp for Strathearne Avenue, Right at the off ramp to Strathearne Avenue, Left on Strathearne Avenue, Right on Burlington Street and and resume regular eastbound routing on Burlington Street east of Strathearne Avenue.

• WESTBOUND TO DOWNTOWN – No detour required.

Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will detour as it travels to and from the Flamborough South Centre, August 31 until further notice.

Westbound to Walmart (End-of-Line): When travelling westbound to Walmart, the bus will continue on Clappison Avenue, turning right on Dundas Street East, left on Leavitt Boulevard, left into Flamborough South Centre, right on the first internal road, proceed around Staples, and stop at stop #1879 at Walmart.

Eastbound to Aldershot GO: From stop #1879 at Walmart, the bus will turn left at from the stop, right on the first internal road, left on the next internal road, right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street East, and left on Clappison Avenue where it will continue on regular route.

Transit staff and property manager are working on an access agreement to allow HSR bus travel through the lot.

Detour Route 20 A-Line: Thursday, September 11, 2025

Due to a special event, Route 35 College will be on detour, Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 1 pm until Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:30 pm.

Detour Details: Route 35 College - For trips that will return to downtown via Garth

• SOUTHBOUND (To St. Elizabeth Village via Garth) – From Garth and Rymal, turn right on Rymal, left on Glancaster, right into Glancaster Loop to Temporary End-of-Line at Glancaster Loop.
• NORTHBOUND (To Downtown via Garth) – Turn left on Glancaster, right on Rymal, left on Garth and resume regular northbound routing on Garth north of Rymal.
