Routes 1 KING & 10 B-LINE Westbound will be on detour due to road closure on King St. from Gage Ave. to John St. for the Open Streets event. Detour details, including a list of closed stops, temporary stops, and a detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 1 King & 10 B-Line Westbound

• Buses heading downtown are on detour from King Street at Gage Avenue - turn right on Gage Avenue, left on Cannon Street, left on John Street, right on King Street and resume regular routing on King Street west of John Street.

There will be a road closure on Wilson Street from Wentworth Street to Sanford Avenue from Friday, July 25 at 12 noon to Friday, September 5 at 6 pm. As a result, Route 3 Cannon Eastbound will be on detour.

• Right on Barton Street
• Right on Birch Avenue
• Left on Wilson Street and resume regular routing on Wilson Street east of Birch Avenue

Route 3 - Cannon

• Left on Victoria Avenue
• Right on Barton Street
• Right on Birch Avenue

Due to reconstruction work at the Meadowlands Terminal in Ancaster, routes 5A Delaware, 16 Ancaster, 41 Mohawk, and 43 Stone Church will be on detour from Monday, July 28, 2025, at 7 am to Friday, August 22, 2025, at 6 pm.

Route 5A Delaware

• Eastbound to The Meadowlands: From Golflinks Road and Legend Court, left on Legend Court, continue north and east on Legend Court, then east on Martindale Crescent to the Temporary Recovery Point on Martindale Crescent behind Sobey’s.

• Westbound from The Meadowlands: From the Temporary Recovery Point on Martindale Crescent behind Sobey’s, continue east on Martindale Crescent, right on Neville Drive, right on Golflinks Road, and resume regular westbound routing.

Route 16 Ancaster

• Eastbound to The Meadowlands: From Golflinks Road and Legend Court, left on Legend Court, continue north and east on Legend Court, then east on Martindale Crescent, right on Neville Drive to the Temporary Recovery Point on Neville Drive south of Martindale Crescent.

• Westbound from The Meadowlands: From the Temporary Recovery Point on Neville Drive south of Martindale Crescent, continue south on Neville Drive, right on Golflinks Road, and resume regular westbound routing.

Route 41 Mohawk

• Westbound to The Meadowlands: From Golflinks Road and Martindale Crescent, continue west on Golflinks Road, right on Legend Court, and continue north and east on Legend Court to the Temporary Recovery Point on Legend Court west of Martindale Crescent.

• Eastbound from The Meadowlands: From the Temporary Recovery Point on Legend Court west of Martindale Crescent, continue east on Legend Court, east on Martindale Crescent, right on Neville Drive, left on Golflinks Road, and resume regular eastbound routing.

Route 43 Stone Church

• Westbound to The Meadowlands: From Martindale Crescent and Neville Drive, left on Neville Drive to the Temporary Recovery Point on Neville Drive south of Martindale Crescent.

• Eastbound from The Meadowlands: From the Temporary Recovery Point on Neville Drive south of Martindale Crescent, continue south on Neville Drive, left on Golflinks Road, and resume regular eastbound routing.

All boardings and drop-offs will occur at designated Temporary Recovery Points as outlined above. No additional stop closures or temporary stops are planned.

Due to the Dundas Cactus Festival and associated road closures on King Street between York Road and Sydenham Street, Route 5 Delaware will be on detour from Friday, August 15, 2025, at 3 pm to Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 9 pm. 

Detour Details:

Route 5 Delaware:

Eastbound to Downtown: Buses will detour from King Street at Napier Street, turning right onto Napier Street, then left onto Hatt Street. They will continue east onto York Street, turn right onto King Street, and resume regular routing east of York Street.

Westbound from Downtown: Buses will detour from King Street at York Street, turning left onto York Street, continuing west onto Hatt Street, then turning left onto Wellington Street, and resuming regular routing south of Hatt Street.

Stop closures and temporary stop locations:

All boardings and drop-offs will occur at designated Temporary Recovery Points as outlined above. No additional stop closures or temporary stops are planned.

Due to Boots in The Creek, Route 5 Delaware will be on detour from Friday, August 15, 2025, at 8 am to Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 8 am. Detour details and routing information are provided below.

Eastbound: From King St. at Centennial Pkwy.; turning left on Centennial Pkwy., turning right on Queenston Rd., continuing east on Hwy 8, turning right on Gray Rd., turning left on King St. and resume regular routing on King St., east of Gray Rd.

Westbound from Downtown: From King St. and Gray Rd.; turning right on Gray Rd., turning left on Hwy 8, continuing west on Queenston Rd., turning left on Centennial Pkwy., turning right on King St. and resume regular routing on King St., west of Centennial Pkwy.

Due to Dundas Cactus Festival Parade, Route 5 Delaware will be on detour on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6 pm until 10 pm.

• Eastbound: From King St. at Napier St.; turning right on Napier St., turning left on Hatt St., turning right on Main St., turning right on Governors Rd. and resume regular routing on Governors Rd., west of Main St.
• Westbound: From Governors Rd. at Main St.; turning left on Main St., turning left on Hatt St., continuing west on Hatt St., turning left on Wellington St., and resume regular routing on Wellington St., south of Hatt St.

Due to construction north of the Fiddlers Green Road & Garner Road intersection, Routes 16 Ancaster & 44 Rymal will be on detour from Monday, June 30, 2025, at 7 am to Friday, July 18, 2025, at 6 pm.

• EASTBOUND (To Eastgate Square) - From Garner Road and Hamilton Drive – Left on Hamilton Drive, Right on Wilson Street, Right on Amberley Blvd, Right on Fiddlers Green Road, Left on Garden Road, Right on Anson Drive, Left on Garner Road, Right on Southcote Road, Left on Book Road, left on Glancaster Road, Right on Garner Road and resume regular eastbound routing.
