Schedules & Detours

As a result of construction at the Governors Road east of Ogilvie Street intersection on Monday, September 30 at 9 am to Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6 pm Route 5 Delaware will be on detour. 

Route 5 - Delaware (Head St. Trips) 

• Westbound to Head St.: From Ogilvie Street and Governor’s Road, continue north on Ogilvie Street, Right on Hatt Street and continue on York Street, Right on Main Street, left on Dundas Street and resume regular westbound routing on Dundas Street east of Main Street. 
• Eastbound to Downtown: From Dundas Street & Main Street, Right on Main Street, left on York Street and continue on Hatt Street, left on Ogilvie Street and resume regular eastbound routing on Ogilvie Street south of Governor’s Road.

Route 52 - Dundas Local

• Northbound to Watson’s Lane: From Ogilvie Street and Governor’s Road, Continue north on Ogilvie Street, Right on Hatt Street and continue on York Street and resume regular northbound routing on York Street north of Main Street.
• Southbound to Orchard & Pleasant: From York Street & Main Street, Continue on York Street and continue on Hatt Street, Left on Ogilvie Street and resume regular southbound routing on Ogilvie Street south of Governor’s Road.

These stops will be closed during the detour:

Route 5 - Delaware (Head St. Trips)

• Route 5 – Eastbound: Dundas at Main

Route 52 - Dundas Local

• Route 52 – Westbound: Governors at Main

As a result of the CPKC Holiday Train on Saturday, November 23 from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Route 5 Delaware will be on detour due to road closures on Lawrence Road; Gage Avenue to Ottawa Street and Gage Avenue; Lawrence Road to Cumberland Avenue. Detour details, including a list of closed and temporary stops and detour maps, can be found below.

Route 5 Delaware Buses should detour:

• Eastbound: From Maplewood Avenue and Gage Avenue, left on Gage Avenue, right on Main Street, right on King Street and resume regular eastbound routing on King Street, east of Justine Avenue.
• Westbound: From King Street and Justine Avenue, continue west on King Street, left on Gage Avenue, right on Maplewood Avenue and resume regular westbound routing on Maplewood Avenue, west of Gage Avenue.

As a result of a Tower Crane Erection on Hunter Street from Caroline Street to Hess Street Closure Route 7 Locke and 34 Upper Paradise will be on detour from Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 6 am to 7 pm. Detour details, including a list of closed stop, and a detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 7 Locke

• Westbound: From Hunter Street and Bay Street, Right on Bay Street, Left on Jackson Street, Left on Hess Street, Right on Hunter Street and continue regular routing on Hunter Street west of Hess Street. 
• Eastbound: Eastbound buses will not be affected by this closure. 

Route 34 Upper Paradise

• Southbound: From Hunter Street and Bay Street, Right on Bay Street, Left on Jackson Street, Left on Hess Street, Right on Hunter Street and continue regular routing on Hunter Street west of Hess Street. 
• Northbound: Northbound buses will not be affected by this closure. 

Stop closure and temporary stop locations:

The following stops will be closed for Route 7 Locke Westbound and 34 Upper Paradise Southbound during the detour:

• Hunter at Hess
• Hunter at Queen

The following stops will in use for Route 7 Locke Westbound and 34 Upper Paradise Southbound during the detour: 

• Jackson at Hess
• Queen at Hunter

As a result of construction on Wentworth Street, Route 12 Wentworth southbound only, will be on detour from Monday, October 28, 2024, at 9 am to Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6 pm.

Route 12 Wentworth:

• Southbound To (End-of-line): From Wentworth Street and Cannon Street turning right on Cannon Street, left on Wellington Street, left on Main Street, right on Wentworth Street and resume regular southbound routing on Wentworth Street south of Main Street.
• Northbound To (End-of-line): No Detour.

These bus stops will be closed during the detour: 

• Southbound: Wentworth at Cannon| Wentworth at Wilson | Wentworth at King | Wentworth at Main

Temporary stops have been placed at these locations:

• Southbound: Wentworth at Cannon (north side of Cannon) | Wentworth at Main (south of Main)

As a result of construction on Aeropark Blvd from Glanair Drive to Dickenson Road, Routes 20 A-Line & 27 Upper James will be on detour, Tuesday, November 26, at 8 am to 4 pm. Detour details, including a list of closed stops, temporary stop location, and a detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 20 A-Line: 

• Southbound to John C. Munro Airport – From Upper James Street and Dickenson Road, Continue south on Upper James Street, Right on Glanair Drive, Left on Aeropark Blvd and continue to the cul-de-sac and loop around counter clockwise and continue back north on Aeropark Blvd, Right on Glanair Drive, Right on Upper James Street and resume regular southbound routing on Upper James Street.
• Northbound to Frank A. Cooke Terminal – From Upper James Street and Glanair Drive, Left on Glanair Drive, Left on Aeropark Blvd and continue to the cul-de-sac and loop around counter clockwise and continue back north on Aeropark Blvd, Right on Glanair Drive, Left on Upper James Street and resume regular northbound routing on Upper James Street north of Dickenson Road.

Route 27 Upper James: 

• Southbound to MTC via Amazon - From Upper James Street and Dickenson Road – Continue south on Upper James Street, Right on Glanair Drive, Left on Aeropark Blvd and continue to the cul-de-sac and loop around counter clockwise and continue back north on Aeropark Blvd, Right on Glanair Drive, Left on Upper James Street and resume regular routing on Upper James Street north of Dickenson Road.
• Northbound to MTC – No detour required.

As a result of construction on Garner Road, Shaver Road to Hamilton Drive, Route 44 - Rymal will be on detour from Monday, October 21, 2024  to Friday, November 25, 2024.

• Westbound: From Garner Road and Fiddlers Green Road turning right on Fiddlers Green Road, left on Amberly Blvd, left on Wilson Street, left on Shaver Road, right on Garner Road and resume regular routing.
• Eastbound: From Garner Road and Shaver Road turning left on Shaver Road, right on Wilson Street, right on Amberly Blvd, right on Fiddlers Green Road, left on Book Road, left on Glancaster Road, right on Garner Road and resume regular routing.

Bishop Tonnos Shuttle Service

• Shuttles will operate daily from Monday, November 18 to Friday November 22, 2024, from approximately 7:30 am until 3:15 pm.
• Westbound and Eastbound from Garner Road and Fiddlers Green: Continue west on Garner Road, Right on Panabaker Drive to the roundabout and circle around and head back southbound on Panabaker Drive, left on Garner Road, left on Fiddlers Green, right on Garden Avenue, right on Anson Road, right on Garner Road to temporary recovery point on Garner Road east of Fiddlers Green.
