Building Owner Fined $10,000 for Fire Code Violations
HAMILTON, ON - June 29, 2017 - 1937949 Ontario Inc. the registered owner of the restaurant known as Rannush Grill located at 578-580 Concession Street, Hamilton, was convicted on three counts after pleading guilty in Provincial Offences Court on June 22, 2017.
The violations included failure to check, inspect and test the commercial cooking equipment suppression system every six months, failure to check, inspect and test emergency lighting equipment and failure to keep all written test records for two years at the building. The owner received fines totaling $10,000 in this case.
