Highway 5 closed near Lynden beginning Monday

HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete bridge reconstruction work, the City of Hamilton will close Highway 5 in both directions near Lynden beginning Monday for approximately four months. 

The closure will begin on Monday, July 30, 2018 and is expected to wrap up by the end of November 2018. Highway 5 will be closed between Sheffield Road and Lynden Road, with no through access just west of Hunter Road.

Motorists should follow the posted detour routes to navigate around the closure.
