Juried Exhibition Call for Entries
HAMILTON, ON – The Fieldcote Fine Arts Committee invites artists who reside in the Greater Hamilton area to submit up to two works of art for possible inclusion in the ‘Fresh from the Studio’ Exhibit at Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum from October 16 to December 22, 2018.
Submissions will be adjudicated by an impartial panel with three juror's prizes awarded of $200 each and announced at the opening reception on Wed. Oct. 17, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm. One People’s Choice Award (voted by attendees) will be awarded at the end of the show.
Online submissions via www.hamilton.ca/fieldcoteartcall will be accepted until Sept. 15 at 4 pm. Images of artwork submitted through the online form should be between 1 and 3 MB in file size and resolution should be at least 900 pixels on the shortest side. All submissions must have been completed within the last year, and dimensions may not exceed 48” framed. All mediums are welcome.
Notice of acceptance for submission will be sent by Sept. 30, 2018. Artwork chosen should be delivered to Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum on Oct. 11, 2018 between 10 am and 4 pm or 7 pm and 9 pm. Final selection for the Exhibit will be made from original artwork.
