Scheduled Lockdown Drills at City Hall (April 2 & 3)

As a part of the City of Hamilton’s continued emergency response training, there will be two scheduled lockdown-type drills held at City Hall. 

The scheduled drills will take place on: 

• Wednesday, April 2, 2025 – 2 pm
• Thursday, April 3, 2025 – 10 am

Each drill should last approximately 30 minutes from start to completion. 

During this time, the doors to City Hall will be locked and security will be posted outside to inform members of the public what is happening. The impact to the public and individuals at City Hall should be minimal. 

As this is only a drill, please DO NOT call 911. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
