Garner Road construction begins today

HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete watermain and road maintenance, the City of Hamilton will close Garner Road eastbound lanes between Wilson Street West and Southcote Road in Ancaster beginning today, Monday, March 11, 2024.

Work will be completed in phases and is expected to wrap up in December 2024, weather permitting.

The scope of work includes watermain supply and replacement, curb and roadway restoration and associated works.

Motorists should take an alternate route to avoid the closure.
