Red Hill Valley Parkway construction update
HAMILTON, ON – Construction in the southbound (upbound) lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP) will continue through the weekend as crews finish installing the new guiderails and complete line painting operations.
The City anticipates work on the southbound lanes will be complete on Wednesday, July 10 and the road will be re-opened beginning at 11 pm on Wednesday, weather permitting.
The final phase of the resurfacing project will begin on Thursday, July 11 and will include closures on the ramps at the south end of the RHVP at Mud Street/Stone Church Road. It is anticipated the ramp closures will begin late in the day on Wednesday, July 10.
Specifically, closures will include:
Ramp from Mud St to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to the northbound RHVP
