HAMILTON, ON - Weather forecasts are being monitored for conditions that can be hazardous to health.
A heat event will be issued when two or more consecutive days with daytime highs greater than or equal to 31℃ and nighttime lows greater than or equal to 20℃ or Humidex of 40℃ or greater.
The City of Hamilton’s Heat Warning and Information System (HWIS) includes seasonal monitoring and two levels of heat response: Heat Warning and Extended Heat Warning.
