Air Force Day – a Canada 150 Signature Event – July 8
HAMILTON, ON - June 23, 2017 - The Canadian Warplane Museum at 9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope (Hamilton) presents Air Force Day: Past, Present and Future on Saturday, July 8 from 9 am to 5 pm.
This Canada 150 Hamilton 2017 Signature Event invites the public to meet current members of the Royal Canadian Air Force, see aircraft up close on the ground, and learn the many roles performed by Canada’s air force today. View helicopters, trainers and transports, the Vimy Flight biplanes and CF-18 Hornet. Also, see the museum’s collection of vintage military aircraft, including the Avro Lancaster bomber. Visitors will have a chance to view over 60 aircraft.
