Ann Sloat Naming Ceremony at the Ancaster Old Town Hall

HAMILTON, ON - March 9,2017 - Please join the City of Hamilton in celebrating Ann Sloat, former Mayor of Ancaster and Member of Provincial Parliament for Wentworth North, at the naming of the Ancaster Old Town Hall forecourt in her honour. 

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 30 at 2:30 pm at the Ancaster Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street in Ancaster. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. 

About Ann Sloat

Ann Sloat has been a tireless supporter of Ancaster throughout an illustrious career which saw her serve the community as Mayor of Ancaster, on the Ancaster Hydro Commission, as an Ancaster school trustee, and Chair of the Wentworth County Board of Education. She retired at the time of amalgamation. Hamilton City Council approved the naming of the Old Town Hall Forecourt in her honour on January 25, 2017.
