Annual Transit Accessibility Public Meeting
HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton, Transit Division, will be holding a public consultation regarding the accessibility of conventional transit (HSR) and specialized transit (Accessible Transportation Services, ATS) delivered by our contractor, DARTS, and through the Taxi Scrip program. Transportation service providers are required to hold at least one (1) public meeting on an annual basis to consult with the community in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
This year’s meeting will include an in-person and virtual option.
Date: Thursday, November 3, 2022
Time: 5 to 7 pm
Location: Hamilton Room, Central Branch of the Hamilton Public Library located at 55 York Boulevard

The presentation portion of the meeting, which is from 5 to 6 pm will be made available online. Small group discussions will take place with in-person attendees after the presentation portion from 6 to 7 pm, which will be facilitated by City staff and members of the Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The small group discussions will not be recorded or broadcast online.
Beginning October 24, 2022, HSR and ATS customers, and other members of the public are encouraged to submit comments, questions and feedback ahead of the meeting. Following the meeting, HSR will continue to gather feedback until November 30, 2022. Comments, questions and feedback may be submitted using one of these methods:
