Brigadoon Drive Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted
HAMILTON, ON – September 26, 2016 – A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory affecting the Brigadoon Drive area has been lifted by Hamilton Public Health Services. Hamilton Water is distributing Advisory lift notices to all affected residents with advice on how to safely resume normal use of the drinking water.

The Advisory was issued to due to a lab test result that indicated bacterial contamination existed in a water sample collected from the Brigadoon Drive area on September 19, 2016.
This was a precautionary measure and Hamilton Water conducted further sampling and testing to verify the safety of the drinking water.
“Public Health Services has verified that the water in this area is safe to drink. Residents are advised to follow the instructions on how to safely resume the use of their drinking water as described in the lift notification,” said Dr. Jessica Hopkins, Associate Medical Officer of Health, City of Hamilton Public Health Services.
