Route & Schedule Changes

Bus schedule and stop changes are coming to several routes beginning on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
New schedules can be found online at www.hamilton.ca/HSRschedules. Schedules are also available in alternate formats upon request. Please contact HSR Customer Service at [email protected] for assistance.

1A - King (Weekdays)
Route adjustment: Route 1A will move from Osler Drive to Main Street West continuing to Wilson Street East for both westbound and eastbound service, connecting to the West Hamilton Loop on weekdays only.

7 – Locke (Sundays)
Get where you want to go even earlier on Sundays, with a new pick-up time at James and Main at 6:56 am (eastbound).

33 – Sanatorium (Weekdays)
The first northbound trip from Scenic & Lavender Loop will leave the bus stop 5 minutes earlier. The new departure time is 5:10 am.

We added an extra trip from Scenic and Lavendar Loop at 5:25 am to get you downtown earlier to help you make your early morning connections.

52 – Dundas Local (Weekdays)
Make sure you look at the new schedule. We’ve made minor schedule changes to help keep us (and you) on schedule. Trips were adjusted to enhance service reliability and minimize delays.

Bus Stop Changes

Effective December 29, 2024, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the stops that are changing.

Route 1A King

Route 1A will be moving from Osler Drive to Main Street West continuing to Wilson Street East for both westbound and eastbound connecting to the West Hamilton Loop on weekdays only.

Holiday & Seasonal Schedules

Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25, 2024)
Buses will operate on a special holiday schedule. View Christmas Day routes.

Boxing Day (Thursday, December 26, 2024)
Routes 1, 2, 16, 21, 25, 26, 41, and 43 will operate on a Saturday service schedule. All other routes that normally operate on Sundays will run on a Sunday schedule, except for Route 51 University. There will be no service on Route 51 on December 26.

New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31, 2024)
Buses will operate on a weekday service schedule with Free Service after 6 pm.

New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2025)
Buses will operate on a Sunday service schedule ending at 10 pm.

Family Day (Monday, February 17, 2025)
Buses will operate on a Sunday service schedule ending at 10 pm.

Good Friday (Friday, April 18, 2025)
Buses will operate on a Sunday service schedule ending at 10 pm.

Easter Monday (Monday, April 21, 2025)
Buses will operate on a weekday service schedule.

Seasonal Schedule 56 – Centennial (Saturdays and Sundays)
The last day of service on this route is Saturday December 28, 2024. Service will resume in Spring 2025.
