“I can’t think of a better place for the final stop of the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour. With Hamilton’s rich hockey heritage reaching back to the 1920’s with our Hamilton Tigers, the opening of the first Tim Hortons in 1964 right here in Hamilton, and celebrating our future hockey stars and beloved Hamilton Bulldogs. I am proud to share Hamilton’s love affair with hockey with the nation.” Mayor Fred Eisenberger, City of Hamilton
“I was born and raised in Hamilton and I’m very proud of the city’s deep rooted hockey history. As the hockey season closes out, what better way to celebrate hockey in our community and show our passion for the game than to join local celebrities, hockey legends and future stars for a fun filled weekend of free outdoor hockey festivities.” Steve Staios, President of Hamilton Bulldogs
