“High quality urban design and architecture is critically important to the success of any City. These awards are our opportunity to celebrate some of the outstanding projects that have been created in Hamilton over the past two years, and to thank the builders, developers, architects, planners and designers who made those projects happen.” Jason Thorne, General Manager, Planning and Economic Development
“A high quality urban environment contributes to economic and social benefits, including a more sustainable community, an improved image of the City today and in the future, and a sense of pride. Receiving an award signifies not only a stand-out project in and of itself, but also a commitment to city-building.” Mayor Fred Eisenberger, City of Hamilton
