Closures on Nikola Tesla Boulevard overpass beginning Wednesday

HAMILTON, ON – In order to complete bridge repairs on the Nikola Tesla Boulevard overpass, the City will close the eastbound and westbound lanes for three days, beginning Wednesday, November 27 at 9 am.

All westbound lanes will be closed between Woodward Avenue and Strathearne Avenue from Wednesday, November 27 at 9 am until the evening of Friday, November 29.

Following the westbound closure, all eastbound lanes will be closed between Ottawa Street North and Parkdale Avenue from Monday, December 2 at 9 am until the evening of Wednesday, December 4.

Motorists can continue to travel east and west around the overpass closure by staying on the surface roadway, Burlington Street East.

The project is expected to wrap up on or before December 4, weather permitting.

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during this temporary closure.
