East leg of Sherman Access to Close Monday for Preventative Maintenance Work

HAMILTON, ON - September 13, 2016 - To safely complete preventative maintenance work, the City of Hamilton’s Public Works Department will close the east leg of the Sherman Access in both directions beginning next week.

The work will begin Monday, September 19, 2016 at 7 am and is expected to wrap up on or before the evening of Sunday, October 2, 2016. The entire east leg of the access will be closed to motorists and cyclists between the Sherman Cut intersection and the Kenilworth Access.

The City thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation as we work to ensure continued public safety along the escarpment roadways.
