Extreme Park Makeover project to take place at North Central Park
HAMILTON, ON - July 6, 2017 - On July 7 and 8, the City of Hamilton, community members, the adopt-a-park group and local children will work to makeover North Central Park. Volunteers and community members will be on site to revitalize the park which will include art panels and freshly painted murals sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hamilton. Additional seating, improved amenities, pollinator patches, shrub beds, and a new Canada 150 seating area will also be added to the park.

Additionally, through the support of Ryan Ellis of the Nashville Predators, the Elly4Kids Foundation is donating the funds for a new play structure so neighbourhood children can have a fun and safe place to play.

To celebrate the revitalization of North Central Park, there will be an official re-opening “Canadian Tailgate Party” on Sunday, July 9 at 1 pm located at North Central Park, 467 Wentworth Street North which will include a barbecue, games and music.
