Full closure of Hamilton Waterfront Trail floating bridge weekdays June 3 to end of July 2016

Hamilton, ON – Monday, May 30, 2016 – The City of Hamilton is advising the public there will be no through access at the Hamilton Waterfront Trail floating bridge in the Desjardins Canal from Macklin St. N. to Bayfront Park starting Friday June 3, 2016 during weekday daytime hours (approximately 8 am to 4 pm), excluding statutory holidays, due to overhead construction work as part of a CN Rail project.

Work will continue August through December and brief, temporary, unscheduled delays may continue to occur.
