The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt App Adventure launches today
HAMILTON, ON - June 9, 2017 - The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt will be live today at 4 pm in time for Friday’s Art Crawl and Sunday’s A Day on the Bridge Street Festival.
The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt is an app-based adventure that will see people of all ages exploring our diverse city and 150 of its landmarks, festivals, events and quintessential Hamilton, Canadian and summer experiences from June 9 through September 12, 2017.
How it works
- Participants will use the app to acquire points at 150 locations or activities.
- The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt app includes all Canada 150 Hamilton 2017 Signature Events.
- As people visit locations and fulfil objectives listed in the app, they will accumulate points.
- At the end of each week, those with the most points will win prizes.
- At the end of the hunt duration, a grand prize of a trip will be awarded.
- People can play individually or with a single device as a family or team.
- Players under the age of 18 can play with permission of an adult/guardian.
