Hamilton Musician Entrepreneur Conference free for local musicians
HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton, in partnership with the Hamilton Music Advisory Team (HMAT) and with the assistance of the Musician Conference Working Group, invites local musicians to attend the 2021 Hamilton Musician Entrepreneur Conference. The free conference, now in its fifth year, will be presented virtually via Zoom and Facebook from Monday, October 18, to Friday, October 22, 2021.
The conference will feature panel discussions from local musicians and industry experts covering five topics: knowing your worth as a musician, cowriting and collaboration, authentic branding, mental health supports for musicians and getting back on stage. Topics were selected based on industry feedback, responses collected from previous events and programs, and commonly asked questions received from emerging artists.
The conference has been developed to support local musicians looking to gain insights and knowledge from industry expert to help develop their entrepreneurial and music business skills.

- The Hamilton Musician Entrepreneur Conference, in support of the City’s Music Strategy, takes place during Small Business Week to help reinforce that musicians are entrepreneurs.
