Hwy 8 Hill closed in Dundas due to erosion caused by rain

HAMILTON, ON -The City of Hamilton is currently responding to a significant erosion event on the Hwy 8 Hill in Dundas. In the interest of public safety, the road is closed in both directions between Bond St and Hillcrest Ave.  

Crews are currently investigating the damage and repairs required. The access will remain closed until further notice.

The City thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation as we work to ensure continued public safety along the escarpment roadways.
