Intersection of Charlton Avenue East & Catherine Street South to Close Monday

HAMILTON, ON - September 9, 2016 - The City of Hamilton will be closing the intersection of Charlton Avenue East and Catherine Street S to complete watermain and valve chamber repairs.

The intersection will be closed in all directions to motorists and cyclists beginning Monday, September 12, 2016 and is expected to remain closed until December, weather permitting.

Charlton Avenue East will be closed between John Street and Walnut Street. Catherine Street South will be closed between Forest Avenue and Charlton Avenue East. A detour will be posted using John Street South, Young Street and Walnut Street South.
